Terms of Service

These conditions govern your use of Nikaai. Please read them before you start a conversation.

  1. By accessing Nikaai you agree to these conditions in full. If you do not accept them, please stop using the service.
  2. You confirm that you are at least eighteen years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
  3. All companions offered here are fictional characters. They are not real individuals and no statement made by a companion should be treated as advice from a person.
  4. All portraits shown alongside companions are generated illustrations and do not depict real, identifiable people.
  5. The service is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment and conversation.
  6. You are responsible for the content of the messages you send and for keeping any access credentials confidential.
  7. You agree not to use the service to produce, request or distribute unlawful material of any kind.
  8. You agree not to attempt to interfere with, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service or its infrastructure.
  9. Automated collection of content, including scraping and bulk downloading, is not permitted without written consent.
  10. Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation with any organisation is prohibited.
  11. Text, character names, biographies, imagery, layout and code presented here remain the property of Nikaai unless stated otherwise.
  12. You retain ownership of the messages you write, and you grant us a limited right to process them so the service can function.
  13. We may add, revise or retire companions and features at any time without prior notice.
  14. Third-party links may appear within the service; we are not responsible for the content or practices of those destinations.
  15. The service is supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind.
  16. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and maintenance or technical faults may cause temporary outages.
  17. Nothing offered here constitutes medical, legal, psychological or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for those matters.
  18. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services rather than relying on a conversation here.
  19. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
  20. You agree to indemnify Nikaai against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these conditions.
  21. We may suspend or terminate access where these conditions are breached, or where use harms other people.
  22. Your use of the service is also governed by the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.
  23. These conditions may be updated; the revised version applies from the moment it is published on this page.
  24. Continued use after an update signifies acceptance of the revised conditions.
  25. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  26. Our failure to enforce a provision does not amount to a waiver of that provision.
  27. You may not transfer your rights under this agreement without our written consent.
  28. These conditions represent the entire agreement between you and Nikaai regarding the service.
